Adobo is widely known as the Philippine’s national dish. However, there might be no national recipe for preparing it since almost all regions have their own version of cooking it. Most templates contain soy sauce but the kapampangan version commonly uses salt instead. Because of that, the color is lighter than usual and over time it has been named “Adobong Puti”
